Every spring and fall Home on the Range hosts it's annual Charity Rides. Over the past few years Home on the Range has helped raise money for The Special Olympics The Children of Chernobyl Hurricane Katrina Relief Fund * note* these rides are not for inexperienced riders as the rides last typically between 5 and 6 hours However if you are still interested in making a donation or donating a draw prize all contributions are appreciated. TYPICAL ITINERARY: 9:00 am - 10:00 am : Morning meet and greet 10:00 am : Ride begins 12:30 pm : Lunch ( bag lunches ) 1:00 pm - 1:30 pm : Ride for home begins 5:00 pm : Arrive back at Home on the Range 5:30 pm : Supper and draw for door prizes So load up your horses, come make some new friends and enjoy the beauty of Huron County Don't own a horse but your an experienced rider? Rent one of ours for the day. IN THE WORKS... HUGO'S FIRST ANNUAL SUMMER HOEDOWN Come join us at the ranch for a day and night of summer fun Go for a ride Play in a horse shoe tournament Enjoy a round of Cowboy golf ( but watch your step ) Stuff your face at the barbecue Sit back and relax around the campfire pit Pitch a tent and stay the night or rent one of our rustic cabins POKER RIDE Looking for something different? Why not grab a group of friends or co-workers and go on a Poker Ride. Inexperienced Riders will be taken out in a group where they will search for their cards at various locations Experienced or Advanced Riders will be given a map to the various locations where they will search for their cards. |
